Small code simplifications (improvement, pythonicity)

• Add .idea into the the gitignore (PyCharm)
• Simplying if expression (ternary, boolean, assignment, ...)
• Using pythonic syntax (f-strings, is, list-compr, ...)
• Raise better and more specific exception (FileNotFound, TypeError)
• Reduce nesting using if guards
• Fixed some typos along the way

I'd like to improve further the code by extracting some part of functions, but i'd like to know if your welcome to deeper refactoring that may change the codebase by a lot
