Describe the bug
On Version 2.4.1, the "new Content unlocked" alerts do not appear
To Reproduce
1) Enable the Show Unlock Notifications option.
2) make sure you are in New Reader Mode
3) reach a moment where something new should be unlocked
Expected behavior
A notification showing something new has been unlocked, or News has updated if Show minor notifications is checked

The unlocks are still shown on version 2.2.1 and lower
