History, Tabs, and Bookmarks Deleted Upon Update #600

When I installed the update, it behaved as though I had just installed the app for the first time ever. Attempting to open the old version also behaved as though it was brand new. I had a lot of bookmarks, open tabs, settings modifications, etc that I would be devastated to permanently lose.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Download update as zip file
  2. Extract contents of zip file
  3. Open exe file
  4. It acts like a new install rather than an update

It should have kept my history, open tabs, bookmarks, settings, mods, etc.

Has anyone else experienced this? This should only happen if you go through the factory reset process or manually delete the %appdata% folder where the UHC keeps settings.

I definitely didn't manually delete the %appdata% folder, but I also can't seem to find it anywhere on my computer. do you know where it should be located? so I can check and see if it somehow got deleted?
