[Feature Request] Option for fade out animation #8

The ping has a fade in animation, but there is an abrupt end when the ping ends. Maybe a config option could allow for pings to have some sort of fade out animation?

Thank you for your suggestion! I tried adding a "fade out"-animation, but I couldn't get anything working that looked good.
