Integrate available POCs and create the GirlScript website #15

Target is to make a website like https://djangogirls.org/.

Use Case:

  1. HomePage page [POC available to use] with all information about the org. Content can be found in this Google Doc

  2. Show a map of India [POC available to use] with all events pinned to their cities. The markers when clicked should take us to the events website upon click. Currently, there is only one event GirlScript India and later more events may join in.

  3. A donate page [POC available to use] and create a donate page in the website.

  4. Create an organize events page [POC in-progress], from where users can send a request to admins, to organize a partner GirlScript. Like GS Delhi, or GS Pune, etc. Admin can approve the request and add a child website to map markers list.

Expectations:

  1. Every page in website should be responsive and cover the content given in Google Doc URL.

  2. Please refrain from spending too much time on a fancy UI. A simple neat UI would also be given the same marks.

  3. Three basic features are required before you can submit PR: Homepage, Events markers on maps markers, Donate page.

  4. For Organize events page, since we are awaiting PRs to do the POC, you can choose to avoid it or have a dummy page for this.

This is an open issue, we would not assign the issue to any one person. You all can submit your PR, we would accept PRs from any contributor and evaluate them according to the expectations.

Few tips for all of you:

  1. Keep your work-progress updated.
  2. Keep your code in this folder: integration/website/[GitHub handle]
  3. Add screenshots of your website before sending PR: integration/website/[GitHub handle]\screenshots
