Chrome 35.0.1916.114 (came out on May 29th,2014?) breaks path editing #1219

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. open http://svg-edit.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/editor/svg-editor.html
2. click cancel on storage preferences dialog
3. click on Path tool (light green under circle) or hit the 'p' key
4. make an open triangle by clicking on two points and then double clicking on
a third
5. move the last point: now click and drag (in one gesture, i.e. mouse down,
drag mouse up) this last point
6. move the last point again: now click and drag (in one gesture, i.e. mouse
down, drag mouse up) this last point

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The point should have moved. What I see is a segment and a point, the triangle
and fill have disappeared.

In what browser did you experience this problem? (ALL, Firefox, Opera, etc)
Only on Chrome 35.0.1916.114,
tried this on Safari 7.0.4 (9537.76.4) and Firefox 29.0.1 and does not have
problem

In what version of SVG-edit does the problem occur? (Latest trunk, 2.5.1,
etc)
Latest Trunk, it also happened on
http://svg-edit.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/editor/svg-editor.html

tried on
http://svg-edit.googlecode.com/svn/branches/fixtransforms/editor/svg-editor.html
does not seem to have problem.
on branches 2.7, 2.6, 2.5 have this problem
on branch 2.4 does not have this problem

Please provide any additional information below.

Looking at the announcement of Chrome on May 2014 there is a reference of SVG
related thing breaking on it.

... see comments: It broke some things in our SVG-based application and this
list would help us tremendously in narrowing down the cause
