Open GiselleTan opened 2 months ago

Steps to reproduce: Run /help ; command : delete

Expected: Expected the details for the delete command to be placed in the output box or at least not open in a new fullscreen window.

Actual: Opened in a fullscreen window, which is also different from what is shown in the user guide.

Team's Response

It is because you have connected the computer you used for pe to a second monitor, which in the first place should not be allowed during pe. If you had only used a single screen, not connected to any monitor, you will not face this issue.

Additionally, if you want to use a second monitor, we have already made this issue clear in the ug.

This is rarely happen, and only happen when you are using second monitor, it doesnt bring any inconvenience to normal user, hence we reduce the severity to low.

Since we already mentioned in UG that second monitor should not be used, hence we still reject this issue.

Items for the Tester to Verify

 Issue response

Team chose [response.Rejected]

Reason for disagreement: I disagree. First of all, I did not use a second monitor during the PE, which can be seconded by my invigilator. Secondly, this will happen if I full screen the application and run the command. Further, you mentioned that

Since we already mentioned in UG that second monitor should not be used

However, it is not mentioned in the UG that second monitors should not be used. The image you provided only states the result of what would happen if you are using multiple screens, it does not specify to "not use a second monitor".

## Issue severity Team chose [`severity.Low`] Originally [`severity.Medium`] - [x] I disagree **Reason for disagreement:** > This is rarely happen, and only happen when you are using second monitor, it doesnt bring any inconvenience to normal user, hence we reduce the severity to low. I disagree. This happens when users full screen the application, which can happen **often**, and runs the command. Meaning, not only when using a second monitor. Hence, I would say it does inconvenience normal users, and would often happen.
