compositor initialization failed? #101

when i try to run the game, theres no vr view, and a window pops up saying "compositor initialization failed!" pls help me

Are you sure you opened steamvr before the game? Make sure you're not in steamvr beta. If those don't help send us portal2_d3d9.log
