McAfee Flagging Portal2VR as a Threat

Just what the title says. my virus software quarantines the archive for containing a threat, it says.

edit, seems to be the d3d9.dll

How specific about the threat is it? From reading the build instructions in the readme, d3d9.dll is the mod. I suspect its hooking into the portal game a lot like malware would be hooking into other programs.
