It doesn't even open. It starts to open, then within a second, it closes. I did get an Apple error report twice, but lost the one that was open.

I can't install it too with El Capitan 10.11.6 System preferences are ok. It says I must have OSX 10.12 to work but I can't install it cause I have apps working only on 10.11 :(
@Lipucciu Please try the DMG file from this branch and see if this works better: https://github.com/Git-Jiro/homebrew-jiro/releases/tag/OSX_10_11_test
Have you tried building using homebrew instead of downloading the dmg?
@Git-Jiro it doesn' work, there is an error message... @coagmano No, I didn't, how can I do ? Is there a tutorial somewhere ? (But I think it would be nice to make a working .dmg for 10.11 users)

My system preferences are fine. I reinstalled v. 3.7.11.0 without problem.
I get same error as above when installing on version MacOS version 10.13.4 with no HomeBrew or GRC dependancies installed. However if I install this on my other Mac which has all dependancies installed, it works fine. "Termination Reason: DYLD, [0x1] Library missing" tells me that this DMG (as seen by it's size also) is not a standalone app package, but only an app without the required dependancies bundled into it.
Think we need the more traditional app bundle that typical users expect. This eliminates the need for downloading and installing all of the dependancies separately.
"Make deploy" will produce an app-store like bundle that will work in all Macs. Only issue is that auto tools "make deploy" will produce a workable app for dependancies installed separately, but some of the icons are missing on the inside. This app bundle fails to work on a machine with no dependancies installed separately. I have already reported this several times.
If wish to compile your own app, the official guide is here:
http://wiki.gridcoin.us/OS_X_Guide
Further more, I believe that patching is no longer required using auto tools. I suggest we update the Jiro method to consist of auto tools commands to produce an app if possible.
Hi acey, I tried to integrate "make deploy" in the build, but unfortunately that does not work because it hdiutil needs sudo and sudo seems not to work from within homebrew.
Ah too bad. Maybe a workaround at some point I hope. But 3.7.11.0 will work for now because 3.7.12.0 was a Leisure build. As currently tested, everyone must have all dependancies separately installed for any version of the app to work using auto tools. I've just added the Auto tools compile method to the Gridcoin guide, it is a bit rough until I get a proper chance to edit it, but I think all of us here can get through it fairly easily.

Boost _Latest_test crashes when opening on a virgin Mac. But installs normally on a Mac with all dependancies installed via Homebrew.

linker_hack_test2- SUCCESS! Opens on a virgin Mac. I'll let her sync up and look for any bugs.
Wohoo! 🎉
Thanks! Is a new .dmg on the way or should we just proceed with the one for linker_hack_test2?
WoHoo! This synced up and is staking on a virgin Mac. It even has all of the icons unlike the GRC auto tools build DMG. GOOD JOB JIRO! The linker_hack_test will work fine @chrstphrchvz.
It doesn't even open. It starts to open, then within a second, it closes. It did not even attempt to verify itself. I did get an Apple error report twice, but lost the one that was open.
