Updated text nearly down to the end of the second page of the preface (= p.4 of the edition).

salve o mi optime @cjmcnamara,

Not really sure about the workflow -- I forked then created a new branch just in case, because I didn't want to mess with your master branch. (I'm working in the browser someone else's computer, so I didn't want to clone the repository just yet, plus I have very little git command line experience.)

Also just wondered what you thought about:

  1. typeface, e.g. italics, diaeresis, m-dashes.
  2. corrections: I think quantulamcumque must be intended about 5-6 lines from the bottom of the first page (= p.3), and so I wrote that (rather than quantulamcnnque, sic). -- joe

thanks for contributing, @Spunkle! i'm learning, too. but i think whatever you did on your friend's computer worked...? i was able to merge your text into the main branch. (it's worth getting the github client on your own laptop)

not sure what to do about italics -- i was wondering myself. i used the diaeresis in the other text files, so we'll want to make sure we get those in. for m-dashes, maybe just a double-hyphen? and nice spot on the misspelling!
