Dear sirs,

Just installed MacroTube on Win7 Pro 64bits, Brazilian Portuguese.
Everything went ok and I can reach to the thumbs page from where I can even
search for a video.
But when any video plays it shows no image. 7MC stays on it's blue blank screen.

Any help would be apreciated.

Thanks in advance,

It seems my problem is the same as the issue 5
(http://code.google.com/p/macrotube-providers/issues/detail?id=5).

I already tryed the YouTube HD XML and it keeps the same blue blank
indefinitely.

Any hint?

Please check the instructions:
http://code.google.com/p/macrotube-providers/wiki/MacroTubeHelperGuide

It certainly seems like the issue you have quoted, but we never had an answer
regarding this. I can simulate the issue if I install the helper but not the
updated xml file.

Please check that this folder exists:
C:\ProgramData\Jasmio\MacroTube\Providers

and confirm that Windows Media player can play videos and that YouTube works in
a normal browser.

Also kindly attach the Debug.log file which should be created here:
C:\ProgramData\Jasmio\MacroTube

If anyone else know about this or has fixed it please post a link here. Thank
you.

Using x64 version, cant play any videos, keep getting 'video is no longer
available or cant be played back for technical reasons'or sometimes it just
sits there and does nothing, can click over and over and it just lets me click
but never goes to video or plays it. debug log attached.

@Chris
Thank you for the feedback. The debug log suggests you have an old version
of the xml file. Do you mean you have installed x64 MacroTube Helper or
only x64 MacroTube? If you installed the MacroTube Helper app, the
installer has a step which asks if you want it to replace the existing xml
files. Did you do this? Other possibilities maybe that your MacroTube
installation is not on c:\program files\jasmio\MacroTube. Check the wiki
documentation for the Helper App to see how to manually replace the xml
files supplied with the MacroTube Helper. Also the YouTube HD xml file
works, so try that. If you use the helper app you won't need both xml files
for YouTube and YouTube HD as these are combined. Please attach debug log
again if you can't get it working.

YouTube has changed the video link format. The helper is not working as of
yesterday 27 September 2012. The fix will be done server side. New users can
still continue to download the helper app. It'll take a couple of days at
least to resolve.

A fix has been applied to the server. MacroTube for YouTube/YouTubeHD using the
MacroTube Provider Helper should be working now. Please respond here if it is
not working for you.

Hi. I have a problem with Macrotube.

I installed Macrotube and Macrotube Provider Helper latest versions. I can run
the app inside WMC and I can search videos on Youtube and Daylimotion but when
I try to play nothing happens.

I'm running Windows 8 Pro with Media Center 64bits.

Can you help me?

Thank you!

Please attach the Debug log here - see Comment 4 above on how to find it.
MacroTube was written before Win 8 so it may or may not be possible to get it
working, but I'll gladly take a look.

Hi, I have downloaded and installed the MacroTube x64 version 0.8.1.0 and then
installed MacroTube Helper x64 latest version. I had MacroTube replace the old
.xml files, but it keeps saying the video is no longer available or unplayable
for technical reasons. Any solutions?

YouTube have changed their format once again, so the Helper is not working for
now. No need to do anything on your installation as this will be fixed server
side. I've take a look and it is going to take some effort to get it fixed.
Being Christmas and all it may be a few days before it will be fixed.

Hang in there, it will be fixed! Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year to you
all.

Looks like it might be happening again. I'm getting the unplayable message, and
debug log dumps the full html.

The log seems to indicate that you are not using the helper application.
Although some videos are not playable, I have tried Macrotube and it is working
fine for most videos. Try installing the Macrotube Helper again. Thanks for
the feedback.
