Info text on new uploads on how to create an mp3 #45

There's plenty of newbie necta ppl out there who'd like to contribute with
their songs.

I suggest we have some text on new uploads or an appropriate place where it
says how they can create mp3s. Even if it's on the forum I say it's kinda
important to have on more places aswell.

Example:
Amiga modules and C64 sids are prefered to be taken from Stone Oakvalley's
collection, however if they can't be found there. You'll have to record
them yourselves. If you are able to create a .wav, then you can simply use
winlame to convert it into mp3. Make sure you set manual settings and set
192 kbps, constant bitare and highest quality of encoding.

XMPlay is top recommended to use (even above Winamp) for module playback.
Both have similar recording settings. Set Output to either Wav Writer and
use winlame to convert to mp3 or use Encoder LAME to directly output mp3.
Settings for this can be found in forums. You'll also need a binary of
lame.dll in the same folder as your musicplayer.

For WinJam... You'll have to manually record what you are HEARING. You can
use Audacity for this. Then you'll have to cut the song on loop point and
then it's good to add a fade out. Maybe also a fade in to the song.

For Deliplayer... Do this n that.
For Foobar2k... Do this n that.

Please don't just disable this issue. Either post it to forum, or actually
take care of it somehow shown in the website.

This type of issue should be directed to the Nectarine forums. Im not just
disabling
this issue for the sake of disabling it; I actually fixed this specific issue
in r86
of the codebase; arab, or someone with file access to the Nectarine code tree
needs
to copy webview/upload_instructions.html to their local template folder and
modify it
accordingly. This is the template, which by default on the upload page, says
'If you
are uploading from a demo/production, you can find the Pouet ID on pouet.net'.
It
should be modified to direct users to links, forum posts, or any other
information
regarding the upload process :) I hope this helps :)
