As a user I would like to add the ability to sign in with Google after creating an account with an email and password.

• User should have the option to link their Google account from the account management screen.
• User should be able to link their Google account to a preexisting local account on the app.
• User will be able to sign in using their Google account.
• User will be able to sign in using the preexisting email and password provided during sign up.

• [x] Create a button within the account management to add Google sign in functionality.
• [x] Allow user to sign in to their Google account through the app.
• [x] Retrieve the Google unique ID for that user from the Google token payload.
• [x] Add the unique ID to the users database.
• [x] Ensure the user is able to use both avenues to access the same account.

• Worked with Darian to fix the underlying issues of signing in.
• Sign in is now split between 2 different callback functions to separate methods of signing in.
• Users with a Google UID can now sign in using Google (fetches user account with the Google UID).
• Users can also sign in to the same account using the email and password associated with their accounts.

Testing and Implementation Summary:

• Feature Integration and Interface Update Testing: After creating a button in the account management section for Google sign-in, we conducted thorough interface testing. This included usability tests to ensure the button was intuitive and easily accessible, as well as functional tests to confirm the button's proper integration within the existing UI.
• Google Sign-In Implementation Testing: Implementing the Google sign-in feature involved comprehensive testing. We tested the authentication flow extensively, ensuring that users could seamlessly sign in through their Google accounts. This testing phase included validating the secure connection with Google's services and verifying the user experience for smoothness and reliability.
• Unique ID Retrieval and Database Integration Testing: A crucial part of our development was focused on retrieving and integrating the Google unique ID into our database. We conducted a series of tests to ensure that the ID retrieval from the Google token payload was accurate and secure. Subsequently, we tested the integration of this ID into the user database, checking for data consistency and seamless account linking.
• Dual Authentication Method Testing: To provide users with dual authentication options, we implemented and rigorously tested the functionality to allow users to access their accounts either via Google sign-in or using their existing email and password. This involved testing the system's ability to recognize and process both methods efficiently, ensuring that users could access the same account through either method without any issues.
