As a user, I would like to specify the information from my Google account that the app has access to.

Acceptance Criteria:

• User will be able to sign up using Google Identity.
• User will be able to view the data Google will share with Code-Sparks.
• Code-Sparks will use the collected data to create an account or sign in.

Tasks:

• [x] Configure Google Identity and Authenticator to share necessary information.
• [x] Have user verify and accept the data shared with Code-Sparks.
• [x] Parse data to send to Code-Sparks database.
• [x] Create a local account with the collected data from the user's Google account. (irrelevant to this task, encapsulated in the accounts creation teams)

• Configured new project in Google Cloud
• Enabled Google Classroom API for other teammates
• Configured OAuth client credentials
• Enabled account info and api scopes for those working with Google Classroom
• Configured authorized JS origins and redirect urls for CASMM (currently only localhost)
• Pulled and secret and client ID for use in other Google applications for the web app

Notes: The current Google Cloud project used to enable Google Sign In and other Google functionality is currently set to "testing" mode that comes with limitations to the capabilities listed below:

• Users who wish to sign in using Google must have their emails manually added in the Google Cloud Console
• Only users who are specified may receive a Google response token, all others will fail
• Only 100 users are permitted whilst in testing mode
• Limited to 10000 tokens/requests per day for sign in (possibly more for other API calls)
• Certain authorization scopes are not available while in testing mode

To remove project from testing mode or to add specific authorization scopes requires verifying the app through Google. This process should be done prior to full deployment. For the purposes of this project, testing mode should be sufficient to achieve all functionality we need.

• Ran into issues with creating local student accounts as they do not function the same as teacher or mentor accounts.
• Could still need future additions or modifications for new features in the future.
• Still remains in testing mode as there is currently no avenue for verification from Google.
• Discussed creating a mirrored project with an admin account accessible by all members of the team to distribute access to other team members who made need modifications while the current admin is unavailable.
