After Update "App not installed" #25

Android 5.0 Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Update with fdroid Widget disappeared Try to setup widget ends with message App not installed Try to start App brings up quick start information as expected. Deinstallation and fall back to version 1.7 does not change anything. App ist praktically dead for me after update. This experience not the first time make me hate Updates and Android.

Can happen if the old app version was not properly removed when updating. Uninstalling the app completely and then reinstalling should help. However, the old settings will be lost.

No, that doesn't work. But i have another issue with Google Play services, which partically don't run and cause Gmail not to be able to reply to an e-mail. Maybe that error is related to the malfunction of AF weather. I don't know. We shall stop here. Maybe i shall not waste time with this shitty os with no future and flash a newer community rom. I really hate android for all the crap it does.
