PLEASE READ LIBRARIES MANUAL BEFORE REPORTING ISSUES:

http://ngemu.com/threads/x360ce-libraries-tutorial-by-
resolutespider5.155310/

Always make sure you use latest x360ce libraries!
Bugs created using older versions will be marked invalid as user error.
r848 vc10 is currently the latest version.

Steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Testing with app doesn't give force feedback
2.Games don't give either
3.Yeah

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Force feedback, i don't get any.

What versions of x360ce and Windows are you using?
App 2.1.2.191, libs r848 vs2010

What gamepad do you use? On what drivers version?
Original Xbox controller with pc adapter (not 360)

Please attach a log file created with Log=1 setting in x360ce.ini file.
(LOG MUST BE FROM THE GAME, NOT X360CE)

It's pointless to attach a log of the game since my error is not game dependent
and happens under different circumstances.
I have two original xbox controllers who's force feedback works fine with the
xbcd driver test sliders. I used to have a first one with which i only ever
once had force feedback and that was with saint's row IV, halfway through the
game i started using the other (better joysticks) and there was no more ff.
after that, I can't get ff with any game or any controller. ff logs on the app
show only errors with every ff step. i can't get ff within the app itself. I
have followed the procedure for both 64 bit (crysis) and other 32 bit
installations of the newest version. everything else works fine. i used to
think it might be an error with device names and drivers but i can no more get
ff with the first one either and i don't think changing the usb slot is the
cause.

type joy.cpl into winkey+r
open the advanced screen
select the control you are using as preferred.

vibration should work again.

Omg awesome, it works now. How could i make this work though if i have more
than one pad?

The pads assigned to secondary controls should work without being set to
preferred.

They do for me in any case, i have a MLG 360 pad and an old S type both running
on XBCD (i am the current maintainer of XBCD btw), and rumble works on both
pads.

The issue only really occurs when preferred device is set to none.
