I tested if somehow affects the build version 8.1 for Windows installed on the
controller is detected and work
I have 2 partitions on hard drive pc, both have windows 8.1 professional: build
17238 (update 2) and build 17418 (update 3)
In the Windows version 8.1 build 17238 (Update 2) if it detects the generic
command buttons though totally changed
In the Windows version 8.1 build 17418 (Update 3) no detected at all the
generic command
But still, the problem remains in that other games the generic command works
correctly when the xbox 360 controller emulator is placed, while in Far Cry 4
is malfunctioning or simply does not work
This is a problem of the game and no emulators for generic gamepad control.
In facr Cry 3 emulator control works correctly without problems, which is a
history that facr Cry 4 the problem did not want to fix Ubisoft developers.

build 17238 (update 2) and build 17418 (update 3) ??? What is this nonsense ??
Beta versions ? or what ? Windows 8.1 is RTM already and it version is
6.3.9600.
PS: We do not support Windows beta.

Windows 8.1 Update 3 Pack is ISO 14718 Build Each package consists Original
Microsoft updates or recorded by a build number, and this corresponds to
identify the Pack Update 3 - November 2014
It's like any other software will identified by code in MICROSFOT ORIGINAL
version (not beta)

I have not such ISO on my MSDN AA, and I think it not exist, ie. is modded and
in most cases pirated version of Windows - we do not support piracy too.
@danialhorton
I checked FC3, executables (in this case, FC3.dll and FC3_d3d11.dll) are not
even packed... So I think it matters.

You create or develop Xbox 360 controller emulator and know how to see the
build number that corresponds to package windows operating system updates ???
I find it surprising that do not know where your applications system work in
any case I leave the road to check it yourself compilation by windows build in
the following path in REGEDIT (if you know what regedit)
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion]
And the respective ISOS Original MSDN Microsoft also seems to ignore so I
assume your comment
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-US/subscriptions/downloads/#searchTerm=windows%208
.1&ProductFamilyId=0&Languages=en&PageSize=10&PageIndex=0&FileId=0
Information ISOS only compiled with Windows 8.1 Update 3 November 2014

You refer to BuildLabEx? I do not see anyone refer to those this as build,
because build number is constant for released Windows ie. in this case 9600,
and we really do not care about updates, because they should not change
functionality. Current trunk code requires Windows Vista compiled under VS2013,
under VS2010 minimum system is still Windows XP.
Also FC4 is not supported not because of Windows but I think, because of
protection (VMProtect) that is messing with hook (code patching is required for
x360ce). It will not work on Windows 7 too. I do not own this game so I cannot
make anything to fix this issue at the moment.

I found the answer to the people playing AC Unity (and Watch Dogs) and would
like to share the website with the files that work perfectly with my PS2
Controller that's hooked up to windows 8.1 via adapter I purchased on Amazon:
http://www.angel777.com/nanoblog/watchdogs-x360ce-64bit-works-how/
Read the directions on the website, have a good day ^-^
(PS. It's safe to replace the dinput8.dll with the one provided)
