what version is loaded in the bottom right corner
This issue has been fixed since r623, so if it says 584 in the corner, you
aren't actually using the dll from 642.

So lookingat that it was 584. I am now using the correct xinput.dll but the
controller I am using is no longer green. The box is red. Any idea why on this?
It was green with the version 584. Thanks.

Download the App and the r642_x86 library. Works.
http://puu.sh/3blWg.png Theese two .zips.
Extract x360ce.App-2.1.2.191.zip in a folder
Extract x360ce_libraries_r642_x86.zip in another folder
Copy extracted x360ce_libraries_r642_x86.zip to App folder.
Test it
Paste x360ce.exe x360ce.ini dinput8.dll xinput1_3.dll and x360ce.gdb into the
game folder

if the controller remains red, open up joy.cpl, click advanced, hit ok.
this usually fixes that.

then you're using the dll included in the old app and not using the new one.

everything as written above, but the problem is still detectable in the game.
the solution of an older version of x360ce (2.0.2.163) and
thex360ce_lib32_r848_VS2010.zip use. check it!

I have the exact same symptoms with a Logitech Dual Action on Win7 x64.
The issue seems to have been introduced recently since I have it with
2.1.2.191 but not if I revert to 2.1.2.188.
