Left and Right on D-Pad Switched despite control mapping. #321

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Enable axis to d-pad
2. Test left and right inputs on d-pad

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It is expected that pressing left and right on the d-pad respectively triggers
left and and right inputs. However it is inverted, right is left and vice versa.

Even if I swap axis 3-4, the left and right inputs remain inverted.

What versions of x360ce and Windows are you using?
Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate - x360ce 2.0.2.158 Beta 2

What gamepad do you use? On what drivers version?
Tomee USB SNES Joypad. 2axes11button. T

Please attach a log file created with Log=1 setting in x360ce.ini file.

a controller with atleast as many axis and buttons as the actual 360 pad would
be the best idea.

you didn't provide any settings or screenshots of the problem either.....

Same issue here. Wouldn't it be simple to add "invert" tick-box or let us
"record" the button presses for d-pad? The program definitely recognises the
d-pad input in the controller tab.

Having the same issue, using a cheap "Twin USB Gamepad":

http://www.microcenter.com/product/380359/PC_GamePad_USB_20_(Use_Two_Gamepads_wi
th_the_same_USB_Cable)

Can't find any way to invert the axis on the X-axis for the d-pad.

I found a workaround for this with my SNES-USB adapter. Go to Settings Database
-> Global Settings and pick a different settings file. I had three available
and picked the second one. Then the D-pad didn't register automatically anymore
but all other buttons did. I set the stick axis X to Axis 1 and Y to IAxis 2. I
can now play Spelunky on my SNES controller without any problems!
