Why are you trying to use x360ce?
these games natively support DirectInput and Forcefeedback, all you need is the
correct driver installed with a forcefeedback oem library and it should be all
go.

ACtually i know the reason for this, now that i reread and thought about it
You need to select the wheel as the preferred device in Joy.cpl

many thanks for your reply.
YES.
device name :cng-gw4 steering
status :attached
controller id :0
vid :0x0e8f
pid :0x0003
ff driver :C:\Program Files\VID_0E8F&PID_0003\Gajoyff.dll
1.when i run "FFConst" to test vibration feedback it crashes with error:
ERROR INITIALIZING DIRECTINPUT THE SAMPLE WILL NOW EXIT.
2.when using "csFeedback" i get the error:
NO FORCE FEEDBACK DEVICES FOUND ATTACHED TO THE SYSTEM.SAMPLE WILL NOW EXIT.
3.When using "fedit" i get error:
WARNING:COULD NOT DISABLE AUTO-CENTERING SPRING IN THE DEVICE.
i have recently upgraded to win8 pro x64
same issue still.works in joy.cpl but bot in any games.ive researched this
matter extensively.
the manufacturer, canyon, is useless. no help in the last 4 months.
THEY CLAIM THE DEVICE SUPPORTS FORCE FEEDBACK AND THEIR DRIVERS.
any assistance will be great
p.s. do you think copying the force feedback driver to program files(x86) might
help. just desperate for a solution?

check that the Wheel is actually selected in joy.cpl > advanced.
usually the no ffb error is caused by it not being selected.

hey,
thanks for your reply. unfortunately this is the same help you gave me when i
started this issue.remember? i've done it all.
wheel is selected in joy.cpl > advanced
thanks for trying though.
much appreciated
solution
========
what i do now is leave the vibration test window [joy.cpl] open while playing
my game. just to simulate vibration while playing. ie. when i
turn/accelerate/brake, i'll get feedback.
not perfect but it works.

i believe the issue is either the FFB library is not intended for 64bit os's OR
it has a sub dependency that is not installed.
you better contact the manufacturer for updated drivers
