Update: Mohammad accepted my friend request so now I can check with dev team what the possibilites are to do integration with Chainlink...can we do it? is it worth it? etc

If yes - > will prepare chainlink application for review

Update: followed up with Mohammad again to ask about Chainlink integration and what the possibilities are, hoping he can give me an answer by end of day today....

Update: need to find out if chainlink has REST API / GRAPHQL API so we can use it in our DAPP or not. We can't find it in the documentation, so reaching out to support to find out.

Once we have that info, the devs will have to play around with it to see how hard/ easy it is for us to integrate.

Update: no luck getting integration info, have reached out via:

• email (sent)
• telegram (no reply just scammers sending DMs)
• twitter (no DMs open)
• linkedin (waiting on sales navigator access from Clara) to reach out to ppl on the team
• contact form connecting me to Solutions Architect (done)

Hey team, wanted to give an update on Chainlink call we had with Mohammad. In essence, to qualify for the social impact grant we need to show application of any of the following:

1) VRF- Generate random numbers for NFT mints, raffles, airdrops etc -- Our NFT projects is on hold for now, but something to keep in mind for the future. 3) Price feeds - Could be used to show fiat based pricing on marketplace - as we provide crypto prices, FX rate, etc List of feeds: https://docs.chain.link/docs/reference-contracts/ List of single data provider feeds: https://market.link/ Guide to integrate via solidity/web3 api: https://docs.chain.link/docs/get-the-latest-price/ @mohammad_ranjbar_z#2709 said on the call he would provide a list of tokens we would be interested in to asses if we can get pricing feeds from chainlink (they don't provide it for low liquidity and low trade volume tokens since they can be easily manipulated), so they asked us to give them a list of what we're interested in.

If we decide to move forward, Chainlink said they would promote us on their marketing channels as a partner.

The cost would be:

• free for the first 3 months
• singe price feed - pending reply back from them
• all chains feed $1k/month

Is there interest here from our side @MoeNick#1374 ? I know anything dev related has to pass by you. I thought the price feeds and automation could be interesting for us to qualify for the social impact grant but I would love to hear your thoughts?

hey @tropicalmangos - thanks for implementing my suggestions there - I don't have anything more to add. just one question - the part we state our ask with the amount comes later in the grant process or shall we include it somewhere in this grant? Do you have the estimation on the dev work for this?

@spectoregia there wasn't any info online about grants amount, but i got in a telegram channel with a few team members and here's what they said :

It is case by case, because this one for contributing chainlink ecosystem, should be more than 10k

She did mention this was more for "being on the tech side"

Our approach isn't really super tech focused so I'm not sure we could put the full amount. I know this is a small sum, but I think since the application is pretty much good to go we should just go for it. Wdyt?

Sorry to respond late, @tropicalmangos Their price services can integrate into our DAPP but it is designed to use for smart contracts and it does not add much value to our web-application, due to the cost of their subscription I doubt it can be a good solution for us from product's perspective. However, for other areas of cooperation, I don't have any clear clue how we can go forward, maybe other product managers can follow it up better than I do.

@MoeNick ok thanks for chipping in, your bring up a valid point about the cost of subscription....it's free for the first 3 months but then after they start charging. The unlimited price feed is $1k and I'm still waiting to hear back how much a single price feed would be...

Hey final update: decision was made not to pursue this grant on the fundraising call today given cost and grant amount.
