Road to DEVCON #7

After yesterday's meeting, it would be helpful to have a list of tasks related to the completion of the final version of the website, specifically within a realistic scope to have the website live on the week of SEP25. Could we have a list of elements needed? that way we can assign resources to work on those tasks?

TODO List for New Website

What we need most at the moment is the attention of the product development crew, because the content should be approved by them.

Currently we are working on a mockup, that can be seen and commented here: Mockup graphical minisite

  1. Content to review:

    • Transaction Flow diagram
    • Comparison of actions for Givers & Makers
    • Should we put the Video as is on the website or leave it out?
    • Giveth is an open source platform - intro text
    • Unicorn DAC
    • Should we include a roadmap?
    • Is the picture we have adequate to represent Giveth?

  2. Content that needs to be created/completed:

    • Dapp product card
    • Milestonetracker product card
    • MiniMe card
    • Vault card
    • Fiends and Partner Projects

DISCLAIMER: The current mockup shows a navbar that suggests integration with the MVP. This does not represent the state of launch, as the website will stay separate from the MVP site at first. Future merging of the sites and cross use of navbars is still possible however and should be part of the future roadmap IMO.

Plan to implement changes

1 - I would like to get the content approval and get help in creating the rest of the content by product definition.

2 - Meanwhile Grace, Alan and me can discuss graphical styles for Giveth as well as some stuff still missing for the visual branding guide (Headline Font, Color scheme)

3 - For the Friends and Partners I need Griffs input which projects should be included

4 - Once content is approved, we can work it into diagrams reflecting our new branding style

4 - Actual programming should not take more than two or three days max, since the site is already up and running well from a technical standpoint.

Suggest to reduce scope for this release and include the following. The rest can be done for next release, before the launch.

-Transaction Flow diagram -Comparison of actions for Givers & Makers -leave video out -Giveth is an open source platform - intro text -let's see more options for landing pictures - not convinced with current one

Content that needs to be created/completed: Milestonetracker product card MiniMe card Vault card

Friends and Partner Projects, include Aragon, district and status.im

He was not. I just did. Think I have to show him around still. Will try to have an appointment with him tonight.

I noticed the logo+text is used in two different ways on the mockup. Once the two elements are aligned to the bottom (in header) and then it's aligned to the top (over the hero picture).

I feel that Transaction Flow diagram & Comparison of roles for Givers & Makers is an absolute must!!

Intro text about about Giveth platform is welcome, everything else can be added later.
