Biblio upgrade error, upgrade from 1.x to 3.x #173

I tried to do an upgrade from v1.x(rc7) to 3.x following the instructions given under, https://github.com/Gizra/biblio

After installing migrate and other related modules, tried running update.php. The script finished running with an error,

FieldException: Attempt to create an instance of a field field_biblio_roles that doesn't exist or is currently inactive. in field_create_instance() (line 476 of /modules/field/field.crud.inc).

Any suggestions to fix this error?

Any resolution on this issue please?

I couldn't make it work, so gave up and went back to the v1.x. Did not see any reply from developers as well.
