  1. The author of this news item http://www.euwi.net/africa/news/release-results-aid-mapping-exercice-africa.html is different than the author of the migrated blog post http://dev-c4d.pantheon.io/euwi-africa/news/release-results-aid-mapping-exercice-africa
  2. Same for this event http://www.euwi.net/mediterranean/event/eu-water-framework-directive-and-med-euwi.html -> http://dev-c4d.pantheon.io/euwi-mediterranean/event/eu-water-framework-directive-and-med-euwi

Is there a reason for this? Did we not want to migrate the "EUWI Team" as a member on capacity4dev? @adevanssay

@Katya-cap4dev @amitaibu It's happened because on c4d already exist user with same name that have user on euwi. In our situation this user is Celine.JRC. But on c4d this user have personality first name and last name (instead of euwi where this user have first name EUWI and last name Team). Therefore name that you see in author section of news is generation of first name + last name. And it's name Profile.

I have two options:

we should keep the users as is in c4d.

Ok, if I understand correctly, a user with the username Celine.JRC already exists on capacity4dev, with the first name "Celine" and last name "Dondeynaz". A user with the username Celine.JRC also exists on EUWI but with the first name "EUWI" and last name "Team". Therefore after the migration anything posted by EUWI Team appears as posted by Celine Dondeynaz.

@adevanssay @ckorakas Are you fine with that?

Indeed, that's according to the spec:

During the import of the users on the capacity4dev platform, a check will be performed to validate if the user is not already known on the platform. If so, the existing capacity4dev account will be used to link migrated content and group memberships.

@amitaibu thanks - you're right and it makes sense to us and from a migration point of view.. I'm just running it by Arnaud and Chris for their info on EC side
