We need to get accurate e-mail lists of the members to be able to a) run election b) other UWH communications. email list must be importable into voting system, as well as usable in a variety of other ways (tournaments, etc)

Can we leverage GoMembership (or something similar) now or in the future to help with members and e-mail lists. http://www.gomembership.com/features/membership-management.aspx

Hi Kurt,

Thank you for your interest in GoMembership for the Underwater Society of America (USOA) and also advising the current number of members. I have pleasure in providing the requested information.

Please find attached brochure-ware providing an overview of the solution, plus three more detailed documents relating to some of the key features/aspects of GoMembership. One of these relates to Club Administration explaining the multi-tier capability of the solution.

With regards pricing, thank you for the notice of number of members as this is one of the key parameters determining costs. There are typically four areas of potential cost: • A monthly Subscription Fee, based of functionality/capabilities utilized and the number of active members managed by the solution. For 500 members the Subscription Fee would be between $105 and $149 per month. Note that this fee include hosting, support & maintenance, connectivity, back-ups, redundancy (disaster recovery) and obviously the contracted functionality. • A Subscription Set-up Fee of $750, covering the commitments that we incur with our hosting provider and administration costs. • Implementation usual takes between 5 and 20 days of our consultant’s time to configure to meet the requirements of an body such as the USOA. I understand from the original correspondence that this might be a short term decision and as such this fee would be waivered – the solution would be configured Free of Charge. • Online payments through GoMembership for memberships, affiliations, events and courses attract charges dependent upon method – cards (3.6% plus 30c, except AMEX 4.5% plus 30c), ACH (3.6% plus 30c). Note that GoMembership is a pure web-browser, hosted application so there is no infrastructure requirements placed on the USOA other than availability of modern browsers. Further unlike most providers, GoMembership is delivered as a private instance rather than multi-tenanted as is normal. As such the USAO has it own private database rather than sharing with all other customers. This is key!

Lastly, I would welcome the opportunity to provide a personal overview of GoMembership to you and any colleagues who are interested. This is facilitated as a remote meeting session allowing me to share my screen. During the session we will cover the use of the system by each typical user – a member, a coach/trainer/dive instructor/rescue teams, Club Administrator and USAO Administrators. Depending upon the level of questions this normally takes around 60 to 90 minutes. I’m based out of New Hampshire so on Eastern Time but happy to work within your availability if you could advise.
