Installation fails!

Description

Cannot even install in Atom editor. Fails with the following message:

Steps to Reproduce

1. Try to install on Atom
2. Installation fails saying 1498 error Unexpected end of JSON input while parsing near '...----\r\n"}},"1.3.0":{'

Solution

Delete .atom directory in your home.
