I have a similar issue opened at https://github.com/Glimpse/Glimpse.Client/issues/104.
@chetsangnil Do we want to think more holistically about this problem? At the least it would seem we should have a standardized way to handle loading indications. Perhaps we want to think about something more advanced like the tombstones (horrible name!) that have become popular recently, like in the Facebook app:
"Loading your requests..." should only shows up when Glimpse is currently loading requests AND the panel contains no requests when first load Glimpse. This is to help mitigate some of the confusion and let users feel at ease that Glimpse is currently working on loading requests in the background.
No need for fancy tombstone placeholder for now, hahaaha.
This is now available in Glimpse for Node 0.18.9. Please see our announcement issue for more information.
When I tried to load Glimpse client for the first time, it would takes more than a few seconds to load all the requests. Can we put in "Loading..." wording to let users know that the platform is working on loading all requests? Otherwise, it is quite frustrating to not see anything happening and thought that Glimpse did not capture any data...
I think this is a very small feature that would add a lot value to our users.
