Description

We have Taxonomies maintained in the Plone Registry. When installing a new version of this extension, we need to uninstall it first and then install it again. This, resets the registry.

We need one of the following two:

What I did

  1. Uninstalled the package and noticed the registry entry for the taxonomies was NOT deleted.
  2. Added a new record to it, directly in the registry
  3. Re-installed the product
  4. Checked the registry again manually and it was as per my manual edit
  5. Edited the page via Volto and the taxonomy entry was available for use
  6. Added it and saved the page successfully
