merge v3_events into v3 #130

still missing examples on 4wings and other stuff

@tclavelle the branches v3 and v3_events are now in sync, and the package has no notes, warnings, or errors. some things are still missing. We'll leave this branch open in case you have any local work on v3_events that you'd like to push and merge to v3.

@tclavelle I'll delete this branch and you can add the maps vignette directly from v3 or later when it's merged.
