Why are there two save buttons, and why don't they provide any feedback?

Update: We've added transcript stuff here so it currently looks like this, which is maybe not as confusing. To answer your question, Stephen, this is set up for the Academic Status to have a separate save from the Custom Fields save. I personally don't mind the experience of having two independent saves to avoid having to possibly scroll way down the page to find a save at the bottom of the page (depending on the number of GPA calculations, custom fields, etc.).

I do think both saves need a toast that pops up to confirm the save so I'm going to take a liberty and change this to an enhancement with that suggestion.
