Lantern on belt slot not working with Optifine #98

When using the lantern on the belt slot with Optifine, the dynamic lighting feature doesn't work. Would this be possible to include ?

You have to use lambdynamiclights mod but I am not sure if this is compatible with optifine

This feature got added with a later update.
