Description of your suggestion.

I know there is no plans for a Forge port but I'd like to use it in my modpack, do you mind if I port it to forge for 1.20.1? I have no plans to update it beyond that. I cannot find another mod that does what this one does. Thanks!

Seems like you already started working on it lul. The license allows you to do it. Personally I would prefer you create your own mod so each loader has its own exclusives :)

Ended up basically starting from scratch anyways as it does seem the two mod loaders are more different than I first expected! Appreciate the response!
