I really like the idea of gate-keeping things behind levels, and needing to work on these levels to be able to do things, almost as if giving people roles on servers. I just find that it's lacking a bit in terms of player stats such as melee damage, projectile damage, maybe even an evading stat, health regeneration speed and such.
