I've thought of three solutions so far:

new set directive, "NAMESPACE" -> to set the namespace
- either it sets the default namespace, no "-n" flag set
- or it is the new way to define which namespace runs
add a namespace parameter on env call
do warnings for variables that aren't defined for all namespaces

I like option 3: lowest mental overhead
