Thanks for the feature request and sorry for taking so long to come back to this.
There are ways to split Japanese text properly, and also deinflect conjugated words so your feature is definitely doable, and I agree it would be very useful. I need to first try and find the lowest-effort way to do this, and prioritize against other tasks - but definitely keeping this on my radar as I would find it very useful myself!
I would like to request a feature where you can paste paragraphs of text into a special text box, and then have the program highlight all the words that are currently in your study list in color based on your score for those words, as well as have that little magnifying glass show up next to the all the individual words, so that you can right click ones that aren't currently in your study list to add them in.
Kind of similar to the way the LingQ website lets you mark words from whole paragraphs of text as you learn them, while you're reading the text.
This way I could paste paragraphs of text from say a story or a Wikipedia article into the text box, and read said text inside the program, while adding the words I don't know into the study list. Currently I have to individually search for each word that I don't know from the article, which can be somewhat time consuming. I feel this feature could greatly improve the speed that users learn new words, and make this already great program even better!
I understand that it might be somewhat hard to implement due to the fact Japanese doesn't normally use spaces to separate words, but even if you were to let's say implement it in a way that requires users to insert spaces into the paragraphs ourselves, so that the program can recognize the individual words, I still think this would be an EXTREMELY useful feature. One that would make reading and learning words so much easier.
One other thing you could also add to this mode, would be to allow you to right click on words while reading the paragraphs, and have the correct and incorrect buttons there in the right click menu, so that you could add or subtract score to them while reading, without having to go to the flash card training area. This way reading the paragraphs would basically be like a training session.
Thanks for reading my suggestion, and thanks for making this wonderful program, I use it everyday!
