GoXLR crashes, when pressing a Sampler Button #75

my GoXLR crashes/disconnects/restarts when pressing a sampler button with a soundeffect goxlr-daemon --log-level debug is not very informative

Hi, chan you check dmesg when the GoXLR crashes, and see if there's any information there please?

This looks like there's some kind of hardware issue occurring, possibly related to a faulty cable or issue with the USB port.

If you have another cable to try, I'd recommend giving that a go, also if you have any USB-2 ports on your motherboard trying to plug the GoXLR into one of them.

Separately, if you're running an AMD platform, I'd recommend performing a BIOS upgrade, as there have been several issues with some boards and USB in the past which has been known to cause issues with the GoXLR.

That's all I can suggest at the moment I'm afraid.

Okay, I tried 3 different USB Ports and another cable, same result. I think, since the USB B port on this device was always a bit flaky, it's just hardware damage/wear and tear at this point... sad.. Anyway thanks for the help
