there is a mod for that called effective, and you can combine the wakes mod and the effective mod if you install the "effected wakes" mod, pretty neat !

Its for Quilt and 1.20.1 below, I need something for 1.21

The Wakes developer could however implement a similar splash if he is interested. Plus I have a fairly large modpack on Fabric, I'll never change to Quilt just for one mod, and then maybe end up with other incompatible mods.

oh right, i see the problem, nevermind then (sidenote, on the latest versions as a quilt user, i've never ran into incompatibility issues with fabric mods)

Have you tried Particular? It's basically Effective for Fabric AND on 1.21!
