Search Issue #187

I think the search feature can further be improved/simplified by reducing the number of actions the user must perform in order to conduct a search.

The user must be able to access search results directly just by selecting/clicking on any of the options on the drop-down arrow. Instead of having to select any of the options (i.e. Gyms, Spa's, Hospitals, Doctors) before moving on to click the search icon.

Most users might be confused because they might feel the need to type in a Spa/Gym they know about.

Since we don't have most of these facilities on board yet I think it's best if a search query generates the list of all data we have in our database at the moment.

Explain well.. I don't understand what you are saying

Godfri3d commented 7 years ago

I mean... the search results must appear instantly when users select any of the options in the drop-down arrow (i.e Hospitals, Gyms, Spa's & doctors) without them having to click on the search icon again.

Then what will be the use of the search box?

Godfri3d commented 7 years ago

I understand. Usually, the natural behaviour of users is to type something into the search box. But in our case they wouldn't be able to figure out that they have to click the search icon without typing anything into the search bar. That's why I was suggesting that it's tweaked a little.
