Description transparent textures seem to be a little bit buggy

Reproduction steps to reproduce have a semi transparent texture in front of another texture

this is an issue with minecraft rendering, not something that can be fixed with shaders

You can try Fabulous graphics to fix that, but I think it will break more than fix.
