Not sure if this is already planned or not, but i was thinking, with the survival style of game Valheim is, it might be beneficial to make mineshafts a little more dangerous to work in like real mineshafts would be at the viking technology level.
What im thinking is maybe you can tap into the stability system of the game, and make it so there is danger of cave ins,a nd that danger can be mitigated by building support structures like they do in real mineshafts?
Maybe in a cave in, if you don't dig the cave in area out in a certain time limit you start suffocating like when you run out of stamina while swimming, or something along those lines
or if you are under a cave in tile you could get a bunch of bludgeoning damage and get rooted until you dig yourself out?
