That's due to Anilist either not having a Mal ID or the episode meta is inconsistent thanks for mostly Anilist.

We have this new testing version that fixes almost all episode meta uses Mal as its main database, please feel free to give it a try and tell us if you were able to get the right episode meta for your anime.

Oh btw, if you do try the testing version, make sure to turn on episode meta api and set it to jikanmoa to get very accurate episode meta.

Ahh that could explain it, sometimes xbox or apple are always the ones that have most issues. One workaround you could probably do is authorize on a different device and then use the import and export feature so that way, you can transfer your settings and all.
