Unfortunately Elementum integration would be challenging to add and reason why we are mainly a debrid addon/embed addon is mainly cause we don't want users to have isp complaints and all of that. One of our users by the name of servicerobot has been wanting to add Elementum integration, but we never really had enough contributors to help with that. We can try to look into this, but it will take a long time.
Also about embeds, they are not very unreliable but if you have all providers enabled then that could be the reason why they are slow. If you do want faster embeds, try Hianime, Aniwave, Animepeha. Those three embeds are super fast and great.
Otaku does not do torrenting, but uses magnets to look only for cached content from debrid providers. Torrenting is no good for most anime as you will find seeds only for current anime. The embed sources that work currently as @Goldenfreddy0703 mentioned above are excellent in streaming 1080p video without buffering.
The only service left to be added to Otaku which is similar to Debrid, is EasyNews (Usenet). You'll be surprised to how much BluRay content from anime is there as well as high quality anime links in general from old and newer titles. Even when debrid services sometimes un-cache (delete/expire) some content due to being old in terms of not getting much downloads/streamings traffic.
EasyNews is different they tend to hold some content from older tv shows, movies for longer. It's all title subjective of course. Some titles Debrid services may have some better links, other times EasyNews will have the edge. Both services tend to be great companion for each other.
I've been a long time user of both RD + EasyNews. And there has been many times where I go and watch some older anime tv show or movie where Real Debrid may have just some regular "non-bluray" links to watch but when I check the same title in EasyNews it carries some BluRay releases from that same tv show or movie which perhaps were expired and needed re-upload to RD in specific. However, that same BluRay content could be a few years old that it might not any active seeders so re-uploading to Real-Debrid or downloading the torrent in general as standalone could be a pain in the behind.
In conclusion, Real Debrid or any other Debrid service + EasyNews (Usenet) the best companion to have both services together is like a never ending catalogue of content from regular tv shows, movies and Anime Movies & TV Shows. 👍
Here are two example screenshots of two simple searches of anime titles nothing in specific and as you'll see most of the links are BluRay rips, etc.
Thank you for all the valuable insight. I will try that suggestion. My use case is watching current Anime, so yeah I find that torrent provides the best speed for me, especially the HEVC one due to it's very small size (I don't mind the minor artifact)
Hey so im actually going to close this but we still plan to add EasyNews and Offcloud Debrid one day once we have a contributor to help us code those.
Thanks

Awesome, can't wait for that day to come! Easynews will definitely be a great addition since it surprisingly has lots of anime movies and tv shows in great quality just like Debrid services. 👍
Hi,
Is it possible to integrate the torrent function with Elementum addons? Using Otaku as the frontend, and Elementum as the backend. For now torrent only works if we have debrid account (please correct me if I'm wrong). I can play anime on torrent using Elementum, but it requires me to search manually, it's rather tedious.
I find that Otaku has very good list season based Anime show, but embed is very unreliable, buffering so often even though I have 200mbps connection, I can watch 4k youtube no problem. If Elementum can stream Anime directly with torrent, it would be nice if somehow Otaku can pass the search result to Elementum, and let Elementum play it.
