Next Up and Skip intro Bug from Widgets

Just something else I wanted to bring to your attention, this was also a bug on Kaito but if you use Next Up from Ani List for example and make it a widget on your main screen as seen here:

It will play the episode but 2 bugs come along with it, it will no longer display the episode information if you pause the episode as seen here:

Another thing also happening when using Next up if you use the Skip Intro function it actually displays itself twice, so example i hit "Skip" it will work and skip forward but it displayed twice so i will still see another "skip" and have to cancel that one.

Also noticing Up Next to display the next episode doesn't work from here either BUT it does seem to be marking the episode as watched i just tested that and it did mark it on AniList.

Also just to add when you do all of this from within Otaku and go to the Next Up section on Anilist it all works perfectly, only have the issues when its set up like a widget

Ok its kinda the same but it has to do with next up and that anime is not showing titles. There is also double skips when making next up your widget.

Having same issues with next up & skip intro. Using AH2 skin, kodi 20 Nexus on shield 2017. Using latest version of everything. Next up & current widgets on Home Screen from Anilist menu. Not using any vpn

Hey @icpryde sorry I didn't reply sooner but would you mind doing some testing on this again. When we added consument and did some Playlist fixes and added new features, we manage to fix a few bugs and we were wondering if you could test those again. If you could that would be great, thank you.

Ok after some testing

• skip intro seems to work now it does not duplicate
• Metadata still doesn’t show up when you pause the episode
• next episode dialogue doesn’t appear at the end of the episode

within the app it works but not from a widget

I think one way to fix this is when clicking a show on next up, it should pull up the episode meta first to make the playlist and then play the show so that way it works for widgets. If we can get either @Gujal00 or @joezito129 to make that happen in the future, that would probably solve this issue and we would not have to worry about the confusing widget part. Luckily, this is only happening to next up and we have a plan for it so it should work out hopefully.
