Cant watch anything #342

When ever i try to watch anything i get a error and tells me to check the log

When i check the log it says playist player skiping unplayable item i have tried reinstalling kodi and otaku and nothing has helped 17285919311215401529127309208595

Hey there, im actually not sure why you could be having this error but could you tell me what device your using? It could be the due to device your using.

Im using xbox it was working 2 weeks ago went on holiday cane home and dosnt work no matter what i do

Mmmm kodi on Xbox can sometimes not work very well due to its limitations, you may wanna try to reinstall Otaku and see if that fixes your issues.

I have tried this and reinstalling kodi completely still not working unfortunetly i dont think this is a internet issue or anything as it works on my phone

Just to check as i watched a random youtube video to install hooty respitory is the right one

Inputstream Helper is broken on the XBOX. Can't do anything in Otaku. May be you can try rolling back to an older version of inputstream-helper (and disable updates). https://mirrors.kodi.tv/addons/omega/script.module.inputstreamhelper/

Hi - I was just having the same problem with Otaku not playing anything on Kodi Omega for Xbox Series X. - Guljal00's solution worked for me about the new 0.7.0 version of inputstream-helper being broken on xbox. I went and uninstalled inputstream-helper 0.7.0 from my addons, then downloaded the 0.6.1 zip version from the link. Copied it to a usb. Plugged it into the xbox and went to add ons -> install from zip file -> chose the 0.6.1 inputstream-helper .zip file I downloaded here from the list in Gujal00's link above. Then went to otaku settings and cleared all cache, torrents, wipe addon data, then rebuilt the database. All is good now.

Here is the direct download for the older inputstream-helper version that worked for me. Make sure to turn off auto updates for that plugin also https://mirrors.kodi.tv/addons/omega/script.module.inputstreamhelper/script.module.inputstreamhelper-0.6.1+matrix.1.zip)

vids are playing fine now after that.
