File>Import Image> ---- not working on Mac version? #20

I'm having difficulty getting an image to import as a chemical mask on the Mac version of Ready. I've tried various combinations of .PNG, .JPG and .BMP, but haven't had any success. Any recommendations, or is this a known bug?

Hi @sehablacaveman. We do seem to be having trouble importing images, on all platforms. We need to fix this.

I can get it to work sometimes with this image: image (save to a png)

By doing the following:

  1. open parameter_modulation_demo.vti
  2. File > Import Image...
  3. Select the pengiun image file
  4. Set 'Apply to chemical' to 'c'
  5. Hit OK.

With the result looking like this: image (Which is upside down but at least it arrived.)

But intermittently it doesn't work. Restarting Ready seems to help.
