Why do you use BPG instead of VVC to encode the source frame? #1

Hello. Your research is very interesting. Why do you use BPG instead of VVC to encode the source frame? In general, VVC is more accurate.

Hi! Functionally the output quality using BPG, VVC or a learned image coder is generally the same. VVC should have the lowest coding cost but it is slower so it increases the inference time when evaluating the frameworks on a large number of video sequences.
