This is a list of needed fixes for Admin and NP/BDP-related bugs and issues.

While the urgency of individual entries may be in question, the more of these we can fix, the more the NP Admin UX/UI improves so that it isn’t an obstacle to NP onboarding and regular NP use.

In other words: Given this many issues, taken altogether, each frustrating UX/UI item compounds the previous one. The GOODBIDS team experienced this during the 2024-04-25T14:30:00Z Zoom with Claire.

Per @sethgodin’s suggestion, @jaspercroome will sort through them, and bring his vetted list to a meeting with Claire to figure out which are doable in time for the next wave. (Please record this meeting for AMC if it happens while I’m away.)

For the ones that have to wait, @jaspercroome — can you please note where you have suggested workarounds, and where the concierge team and Viget may be able to offer workarounds?

LIST OF URGENT ADMIN AND NP OR BDP-RELATED BUGS AND ISSUES

Critical priority: Viget is on the case

  1. The system named the incorrect winner
  2. Live auctions: Bidding increment errors — the system allowed two bidders to place $10 bids in the same auction
  3. Live auctions: Order numbers are being assigned non-chronologically
  4. Live auctions: Boilerplate language needed above Express Checkout button
    please note: This one keeps falling through the cracks!

NP onboarding

  1. NP log-in problems
  2. NP Site Admins need to be able to flag Super Admins to grant Site Admin status to NP Users
  3. Super Admins are being forced to Verify NP Sites in mid-NP Site creation flow
  4. NP Users — who are not yet NP Site Admins — need a reliable way to navigate to Enable 2fa button
  5. NP’s Primary Contact email address should be the default Administration Email Address for the NP
  6. Emails without Admin access (or even User Accounts) can be confirmed as an NP’s Administration Email Address

NP Admin dashboard

  1. Need something like a Setup Guide for NP Site Admin auction activity oversight
  2. Persistent “Connect to Shipping & Tax” banner
    • Even when the NP has already connected to Shipping & Tax
  3. NP Admins consistently have trouble navigating to their Site Admin dashboards
  4. Live auctions should appear first in the NP Admin dashboard
  5. NP Admins should be able to sort Auctions view by Live, Closed, and Draft
  6. Need full CSV download functionality for all Order views
  7. In the NP Admin dashboard > Add New User > Add Existing User window, existing users are not appearing in the Username or Email box
  8. Need to eliminate irrelevant views on Site Admin > Dashboard and almost every Site Admin page

Auction page creation and editing

  1. Need helper language for the Bid Extension Window slot in the Auction Creation Wizard
  2. Customization issues in Auction Blocks
    • Simple-to-implement customization was promised to NP partners in the deck
  3. NP logo in footer should auto-update when top navigation bar logo image is uploaded
  4. EASY FIX: Need to reduce vertical space between elements and headers in NP design templates
  5. NP font customization: The font plug-in is clunky and prevents granular control
  6. Weird time zone bug

Auction sharing

  1. Opengraph image needs to be added
    • This will make it much easier for NPs to share their auction pages across social media

Live auctions

  1. Changes to live auctions are not possible

Admin email notifications

  1. Lack of clarity re: which Admin roles get what email notifications
  2. The Administration Email Address (AEA) for an NP should get all email notifications
  3. Non-AEA NP Admins should be able to customize which email notifications they receive
  4. Email Notification templates should NOT include individuals’ names
    • Only GOODBIDS or Nonprofit Names should appear in email banners
  5. Need next steps instructions for NP Admins on “Winner Has Claimed Their Reward” email notifications
  6. Need to remove monetary amounts from “Winner Has Claimed Their Reward” email notifications to NP Admins
  7. Need to fix inaccurate Bid Extension Window language in the “Auction is live!” email notifications
  8. Placeholder for other edits needed in content of Email Notifications

NP Site Admin oversight of Orders

  1. WooCommerce > Reports > Orders is useless — can this view be hidden?

Auction close and reward fulfillment

  1. Claim Reward error
    • Viget said they could track and fix this; need @jaspercroome or Seth to confirm that they should
  2. NP Admins need an easier, faster way to see who won which auctions — Viget is doing a high-level think on this

Super Admins & invoicing NPs

  1. An NP was invoiced for taxes

User/Bidder UX/UI issues that NPs are frustrated with

  1. Cacheing issues responsible for time discrepancies between auction end times on All Auction page vs. end times on Auction Item pages
  2. Login/Create account doesn’t navigate back to the auction the User was in
  3. Default state error with bidding
  4. “Save My Payment Info” feature isn’t working
  5. “Share for Free Bids” button could use hover helper text
  6. (Not flagged by an NP, but still needs to be fixed =>) Clicking Account Details sends a User to the Account Deletion window

Super Admin dashboard

  1. In Network Admin view for Users, Super Admins should be able to see Users’ Admin status(es) and associated Site(s)

NO FIX NEEDED RIGHT NOW: But keep an eye on these
