Multi Quotes #30

At the minute to Multi Quote you have to keep going back to find the posts that you want to Quote & hit reply. Each time you do this this takes you back to the Text Box at the bottom of the last page, which is impractical on more than one page threads.

Second opinion on this appreciated.

I don't want to add unnecessary modifications as they increase the maintenance overhead; they sometimes break when the core software is upgraded, some have security issues, developers vanish.

I personally very rarely use multiquote so would propose that we don't use the add-on for the reasons above vs minimal benefit, at least to start with. If lots of people complain then we can consider pulling it out of the hat.

I do use multiquote a bit but am not too bothered about not having it. Cut'n'paste from multiple windows is fine, especially as I tend not to quote all of a previous post, just the bits I am commenting on / correcting / extracting the urine from.

Obviously you know my opinion, but as you say if they can cause problems it might not be worth while. But I'm pretty sure they will be asked for.
