On-Air Personalities with long names are hard to read

[ ] Names are moving over pictures in On-Air personalities in smaller screens. Even on 1080p, items aren't working correctly. http://d.pr/i/vHjwTV/4SK8E8tC
[x] The header items are overlapping each other on smaller screens, especially handheld portrait
[x] First footer widget (EWTN logo) needs adjustment on handheld

Could we start fixing the name overlap issue by establishing some rules? I don't know that this translates to code, but for conversation's sake, A name should never overlap an image. If this means altering the design of each container that's fine. Ideas welcome.

Your Droplr link didn't work. However, I figure you mean this? (You can just copy-paste a screenshot into GitHub and it will upload itself, and then it is stored on GitHub's servers rather than depending on Droplr keeping it forever)

This was a known problem with larger titles with the way we're handling them. The On-Air Personality title overlays work the same as each other one on the site just with the image aligned to the right hand side instead of filling the whole container.

We could handle it a few ways:

Not fade the right-hand side. This would ensure that longer titles are still legible.
Adjust transparency of the overlay. This may help differentiate the black text against dark backgrounds.
Add a stroke to the text. This may look strange though.

Otherwise, anything else I can think of would likely be a major redesign, like you mentioned.

Do you mean on Blog Posts/Pages/Events/Radio Shows? Does this effect all of those, or just some?

The implementation is different between them, so I need to know which ones need fixing.

Must have been a browser issue. The header issue was that the station numbers were overlapping the play button. It was there earlier. Now it's not.

Now I have an additional item though, the EWTN log is riding a bit high.

Fixed the Footer Affiliates stuff.

Leaving this Issue open and re-labeling as an "Enhancement" for the On-Air Personalities stuff.
